Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to wish all the mommies out there a Happy Mother's Day.

I get asked a lot how I do it all. How do I find time to run my business from home, teach my kiddos, workout, carry on my household duties, give my hubby what he needs, along with everything else that needs to happen in a day. My answer to that is...Lists and one step at a time. HAHA.

I am by no means perfect and I don't claim to have it all together. But I make a list and do my best to prioritize and try my best to mark off everything I need to do for that day. One thing I do know is that all of our lives and circumstances are different and all we can do is our best. Mommy life is not easy at all. We are expected to be in multiple places at once and sometimes I think our kids think we have 8 arms to be able to do it all at once. But we can't.

However, our health and lifestyle sets an example for our kids as well. Our kids watch how we act. They watch how we eat. They watch how we react to situations. They are the little sponges that will eventually copy our reactions and action as they get older. I'm already experiencing this with my kiddos even at a young age. My reason for doing what I do, is not to show the world that I can juggle it all. It's to be a model for my children to never give up on dreams and to be able to learn what is important and what isn't. To show them that dedication and work ethic gets rewarded and will carry them through life. Nothing comes easy. There is no easy button to life. We need to work for things, including our health. And I want to show my kids that our health is important and a healthy lifestyle will benefit us.

No matter where you are starting from or how your life is at this moment, know that you can make small steps towards a healthier change. You can set a great example for your kids. You can make yourself a priority for 30 minutes a day in order to better yourself and be the best mommy you can be in the long run. You are worth it! YOU ARE WORTH IT!

I understand that as moms, we put ourselves last. If something comes up, we are the first to put our needs on the back burner and put ourselves last, so our kids and significant other comes first. But YOU are important as well. And that balance and being able to realize that YOU are important to the family equation may help you realize that you need to find time to better yourself.

You Are Worth It! I hope you have a Happy and Blessed Mother's Day!
